NAUSS
is a Warrior
40 Mk2 and was launched in May 1998. She was built specifically
for chartering in the Mediterranean. She has an English DOT safety
certificate and has a stability rating for world wide sailing.
The Warrior is cutter rigged and handles well in all conditions. From the mast forward, the deck is flat and ideal for sunbathing and general relaxing. The cockpit has cushions and a sun awning. Below decks the interior is polished teak. The forward cabin is very large by boating standards and has its own dressing table and couch. The heads are en-suite with WC, basin, and separate shower. All have opening hatches with sun and insect blinds. The galley and saloon are amidships and give a very roomy feel. The saloon seats 8. The galley is fully equipped with a four-burner cooker, grill and oven, fridge with ice making capacity, and hot and cold water. Moving aft, there are 2 cabins and another head with WC, basin, and shower. The starboard cabin has tiered berths and plenty of storage space. The port cabin is a double and has the chart table and control panel in it. This is usually the crews cabin, but can be vacated for charters with couples. Nauss is a very comfortable boat with a homey feel. |
