LILLA is a 76-foot aft-cockpit CNB 76 aluminium masthead cutter, attended by three crew. Lilla sleeps up to six guests in three en-suite cabins. The crew has a separate cabin. Her accommodation arrangement is perfect for charter the guest accommodation, saloon, and cockpit forward are totally self-contained and separate from the crew area and navigation cockpit aft. This practical arrangement gives an enormous amount of privacy to guests, whist affording easy access to dining, refreshment and sunbathing facilities. The saloon features a large dining table to port, with a settee area to starboard. A drinks fridge, bar unit, and an icemaker are conveniently located in the saloon, which has access from the galley and from the spacious cockpit. The saloon has an air-conditioning system that is independent from the cabins. With a classical decor, it has a wonderful ambience, whether artificially lit or taking advantage of natural light through the large windows. The saloon's state-of-the-art flat-screen DVD entertainment system has a surround-sound audio system to match. Guest accommodation Lilla's three guest cabins open off the main saloon. They are all spacious, light, and airy, with private en-suite shower and the latest WC facilities. Each cabin is provided with plenty of storage, with hanging lockers, drawers and shelving. The two forward cabins may joined together, creating a full-width suite for two persons or a family. Lilla's accommodation is fully air-conditioned with individual comfort controls. Bed sizes are generous, well over six feet in length. Each cabin has overhead lighting, individual reading lamps, a combined CD/radio player, and individual control of the air conditioning. On
deck Lilla offers plenty of
options for sun-worshippers and shade-seekers alike. Wide, clear
decks and purpose-designed seating and sunbathing areas mean you
can choose between party or privacy. A cleverly-designed adjustable
sprayhood and bimini cover arrangement, provides just the right
amount of protection from the elements. Lilla has two bathing ladders, one each side, as well as an enormous bathing platform at the aft end of the vessel. This is equipped with a hot and cold water shower unit for washing off sand and salt and allows easy entry and exit to the water even when wearing snorkelling gear. Watersports and entertainment As well as providing the opportunity to simply relax and enjoy, we also offer a range of activities for those who want to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of our cruising grounds. To this end, Lilla carries a comprehensive range of toys on-board, which you are encouraged to use under supervision and the crew are happy to organise and arrange other activities and excursions as appropriate. Lilla has an on-board DVD entertainment system in the saloon, along with a well-stocked library of the latest DVD titles to suit all tastes. Additionally, the saloon and each guest cabin is equipped with a privately controlled combined CD player/radio system. For those more traditionally minded, we keep an ever-changing library of paperbacks and reference books on board. |

SKIPPER: Rob Buttress Robs early shoreside career was in the hotel and catering industry, working as a chef, cocktail bartender, and in management. From here, Rob moved into a marketing role, running an IT/marketing consultancy business and managing international sales and marketing for two leading marine software companies. His interest in marine technology led to contract work on the prestigious Clipper Round the World fleet and resulted in him writing the popular book Using PCs on Board, which has been translated into four other languages. Competent and very safety conscious, Rob has five transatlantic crossings under his belt and has logged over 30,000 sea miles. At sea, his experience encompasses dozens of different sailing and motor craft, from dinghies and windsurfers, through large sail and motor cruisers and out-and-out racing machines. He is also a keen diver. A fully-qualified Yachtmaster with commercial endorsement, Rob is extending his qualifications by working towards MCA Class 4/5 Master of Yacht certification. |
HOSTESS/CHEF: Nichola Woodward Professionally trained in languages, with many years experience as an English teacher, Nichola came comparatively late into sailing. She has made up for it since then, with two transatlantic crossings and over 10,000 sea miles logged! Nicholas background is in hospitality. She is a keen entertainer, and worked both behind the scenes and in front of house in her familys restaurant business since almost before she could walk. A desire to see the world led to
Nichola quitting the classroom to develop her skills as a chef.
With her husband Rob, she joins Lilla from Gabriella,
a private Oyster yacht, and has recently completed an intensive
cordon-bleu level cookery course. |

STEWARD: Steven Nicholson A keen sportsman, Steve has several years' experience working on private and charter yachts. He joins Lilla from university where he studied leisure management, and is keen to develop the skills he needs to fulfill his goal of becoming a charter skipper. With a lively and helpful personality, Steve is keen on watersports, particularly windsurfing and scuba diving. He has worked as a silver service waiter and cocktail bartender at executive hospitality venues, and mixes a mean martini! |
