KALIKOBASS is a 76-foot (23 meter) sloop that accommodates up to eight guests. Designed by the respected naval architect German Frers, Kalikobass combines comfort and elegance with speed and performance.

Kalikobass is beautifully balanced, so that she is a joy to sail for both the novice and experienced sailor. In a gentle fifteen-knot breeze she easily sails at nine knots or more.

Kalikobass has two large cockpits and a cushioned sunbathing area. The spacious center cockpit with cushions and backrests offers extraordinary comfort for guests who wish to relax, sunbathe or read, yet still be in the center of the action. The aft cockpit is for the helmsman and managing sails. Hydraulic winches permit sail handling without disturbing guests.

Aboard Kalikobass, you may dine below in the saloon or on deck in the center cockpit, where you can enjoy the beauty of a secluded cove or the romance of dining under the stars.

Excellent international and local cuisine will be specially tailored to meet your individual requests and considerations, all prepared by our gourmet chef.

A huge awning with adjustable side curtains extends from the mast to the stern while at anchor. A sailing awning and separate bimini provide protection for both cockpits when sailing.

The beautiful teak paneled main saloon is tastefully furnished and decorated. It provides comfortable lounging while watching a video on the multi-standard TV / VCR (which permits playback from your video camera), listening to the stereo, or simply enjoying a cordial from the drinks fridge.

Guest accommodations include four full double-berthed guest cabins of similar size — all with en-suite head and shower, individual climate controlled air-conditioning and heating, and radio/cassette players. The two forward cabins can be merged by removing a central partition to create one large fullbeam suite.

The accommodation layout aboard Kalikobass offers a high degree of privacy and quiet available to guests. With the manufacturer’s superb insulation throughout, all accommodations are well sound proofed.

The galley, nav station, and crew facilities are tucked away in the stern and bow, with separate entrances from the aft cockpit and foredeck.

In addition to the universally used local cellphone services, Kalikobass is fitted with Satcom C, providing reliable telex, fax, and Internet transmission.

With state-of-the-art electronic equipment and all modern systems, Kalikobass can be completely self sufficient, enabling you to be out of reach and yet still in touch!

Kalikobass and her professional crew look forward to welcoming you aboard for the perfect sailing vacation. They will guide you through unspoiled waters to spectacular anchorages, always ensuring a safe and comfortable voyage. Performance, comfort, fine foods, international wines and fun times await. Come and share the magic of Kalikobass.
