CAPTAIN – KERAMIDAS ANASTASIOS

Captain Anastasios was born January 20,1963 in Athens, Greece and is married with two children. He holds a Captains C’ Diploma from the “Greek Merchant Marine Academy” in Aspropirgos, Athens and is Fluent in English. He has vast previous working experience as a Captain on board commercial vessels and more than eight years in the sector of private yachting, prior to joining and leading the exceptional team of “Iris”. In relation to his working experience throughout the years, Anastasios has obtained great knowledge for Domestic and International waters/navigation. Adding to his knowledge and experience, Anastasios also holds Certificates for Salvage at Sea, Fire Fighting, First Aid and Operating Navigational Electronics (radar, depth sounder, compass and radio communication), GMDSS, LPG and Diving License. Anastasios is more than just Captain on board “Iris”, he is a friend. He is very welcoming and nothing makes him happier then serving, with excellence, all his guests on board. Following him is his exceptional crew, which too take great pleasure in making sure that their guests on board will have an unforgettable experience. When Anastasios is not running his yacht, you will find him relaxing and spending quality time with his family.

2ND ENGINEER – SYNTYCHAKIS MICHAEL

2nd Engineer Michael was born November 19, 1979 in Keratsini Piraeus, Greece and is single. He is a graduate from the “Academy of Marine Engineer” in Aspropirgos, Athens and is fluent in English. Michael has accumulated his working experience from working on board “Atlantic Bulk Carrier” as apprentice Engineer; “Hellas Ferries” as apprentice Engineer; “Carras Hellas” as 3rd Engineer; “G.A Ferries” staff Engineer; “Blue Star Ferries” 2nd Engineer. During his free time, Michael enjoys his computer and keeping fit by jogging.

CHEF – PANAGIOTOU MANOLIS

Chef Manolis was born January 2, 1972 in Ikaria (Island of the East Aegean) and is married with one child. He speaks English and French. Manolis has some of the best references from his more than seven years of experience as a Chef. Four years out of the seven have been on board luxury charter yachts, performing wonders in Mediterranean Cuisine. During his free time he likes to fish, hunt, scuba dive and reading.

CH. STEWARD – PAPASTRATIDIS STAMATIS

Mr. Papastratidis was born in 1956 in Athens, Greece is married and speaks fluent English. He holds Certificates from the “Yacht Racing Club” of Athens, from the “Triton Diving School” where he earned two stars and also holds Speed boat’s diploma. He has experience with water sports in general and has served on board many luxury motor yachts such as “Allahou” “Althea”, “Frenzy’s”, “Angle”, “Troia”, “Mad Angel” and “Kintaro” prior to continuing his sea service with “Pandora” and now on "Iris".

STEWARDESS – SOTIROPOULOU KALLIOPI

Stewardess Kalliopi was born June 18, 1963 in Athens, Greece. Kalliopi is single and speaks fluent English including conversational German. She holds diploma in “Business of Tourism”, after graduating from College in Larisa. Kalliopis working experience began in 2005, as a waitress for the “Athens Imperial Classical Hotel and Restaurant”. This hotel is one of the finest hotels and restaurants in Athens. Besides waitressing, Kalliopi assisted with room service and bartending. She is an extremely hard working person, who is always eager to accommodate in the best and most pleasant manner.

SAILOR- DESPOTAKIS ANDREAS

Sailor Andreas, was born October 6,1981in Athens, Greece and is single. He is a graduate from the “Merchant Marine Academy” in Hania, Crete and speaks fluent English. Prior to joining M/Y “IRIS”, he served on board M/S “ERMINA”. Adreas also holds a speed boat licence, which may supplement to his service, who is always more than happy to assist in every way that he can. During his free time, you will find him playing soccer, basketball or just relaxing and listening to music.
