Crew Profiles — Jim Fritz & Kristi Bessette

Let your hosts, Jim Fritz and Kristi Bessette, welcome you aboard the beautiful sailing yacht, Flamboyance. Jim and Kristi are an energetic couple who are ready to help you fulfill your Caribbean dream.
Adjust to the island life with Jim, a U.S. Coast Guard Captain and PADI SCUBA Instructor. A native of New England, he was employed as a project engineer for a consulting engineering firm in Connecticut. The lure of the tropical climate and ideal sailing conditions brought him to the Virgin Islands, where he pursued his dream of buying his own charter yacht. Besides his love of sailing and SCUBA Diving, he enjoys racquetball, skiing and golf.

Great food and fun are always on the menu, and Kristi is the perfect hostess. Wholesome meals are prepared to suit your tastes and are always fresh and appetizing. Originally from Florida, Kristi's passion for travel and a love of the water have led her to combine both for a perfect blend of work and play on the Flamboyance. A certified SCUBA diver, Kristi also has four years of chartering experience in the Caribbean, New England and the Bahamas.

New adventures await you on your tropical vacation as you sit back and relax, or take the helm yourself. It's up to you!

A customized holiday for everyone: choose from exploring secluded beaches, snorkeling over coral reefs and diving ship wrecks. Have a beach barbecue, relax under a palm tree or experience the local night life.
