La Paz
A small, colonial Mexican City with long waterfront promenades. Spend the first day visiting the bustling farmers market and shops in La Paz or explore El Mogote, the sandy peninsula across the harbor for bird watching and terrific beach combing.

Espiritu Santo
The striking beauty of Espiritu Santo (Holy Ghost) comes from the contrast of red volcanic rock and turquoise waters. A snorkeling and kayaking paradise.

Isla Partida
A tranquil anchorage with an abundance of sea life, Isla Partida (parted) is separated from Isla Espiritu Santo by a narrow winding channel of water. Fascinating to explore by kayak or tender.

Los Islotes
Belong to hundreds of cavorting sea lions and fur seals.

Isla San Francisco
Isla San Francisco was once the home of gold miners and pearl hunters. Colorful and steep rocky cliffs are a beautiful backdrop to this anchorage.

San Evaristo
This very small village set near a series of salt ponds, welcomes cruising visitors to their bay. A beautiful long beach lines the cove and is perfect setting for an afternoon barbecue.

A bird watchers paradiseIsla San Jose / Bahia Amortajada
Enjoy snorkeling and kayaking on the large reef... watch pelicans dive for their dinner and soak in the Mexican sunshine. From this anchorage, explore the incredible salt channel winding through lush mangroves. Bird watchers will be delighted by the hundreds of ibis, egrets, herons and other species. Take lots of film for your camera!
