Marmaris
Situated within a large bay surrounded by pine-clad hills, Marmaris
is an ideal starting point for your Turkish Cruise. This yachting center
has a sophisticated marina, excellent restaurants, lively nightlife
and is a shopper's paradise.
Ekincik
(For Caunus and Dalyan)
A stunning bay overlooked by an excellent restaurant providing superb
meals in a memorable setting. From here, a local boat and guide can
be hired in order to travel up the Dalyan Delta (where the "African
Queen" was filmed) and visit the ancient city of Caunus and the
village and rock tombs at Dalyan itself.
Gulf
of Fethiye
Sail to one of the many inviting bays in the Gulf of Fethiye. Enjoy
water sports and dine ashore at a typical Turkish "Lokanta",
a small seaside restaurant set beneath the pine trees.
Gemiler
Island & Coldwater Bay
Anchor for lunch off Gemiler Island. An exploration of the island is
well worth the effort and the ruins include those of several churches,
a covered walkway and many houses, shops, water cisterns, etc. A short
sail then takes you to Coldwater Bay (so named because of the cold fresh
water springs entering the sea here) where there is a delightful rustic
restaurant ashore and the opportunity to take a very enjoyable hike
(45 minutes) to the old Greek village of Kaya, deserted since the 1920's.

Fethiye
Once the principal port of Lycia, today Fethiye is a resort town overlooked
by large rock tombs and the ruins of a medieval fort. Excellent shopping,
restaurants and bars, SCUBA diving, parasailing, white water rafting,
microlight flying and paragliding can be organized. History lovers may
prefer an overland tour to the three ancient cities of Letoon, Patara
and Xanthos.
Tomb
Bay
A magnificent enclosed bay in a glorious setting and absolutely ideal
for watersports. The bay has many rock tombs carved in the surrounding
mountainsides and most are easily accessible by foot. The ancient city
of Cyra is still evident among the olive trees and oleander. .Its
Lycian acropolis is a short climb above a seaside restaurant.
Gocek
Originally a small fishing village, it has grown into a sophisticated
center for yachting and combines a wonderful ambiance with modern marinas,
excellent restaurants and good shopping.
